Ollie Stevenson

President

Ollie graduated from Durham in 2010 with a degree in Modern Languages, and he now works in PR for a financial services company. He was one of the founding members of RTC, but took a brief hiatus from the exec before rejoining as President in 2019. He is incredibly proud to be contributing to the success of the company that has given him so much joy and happy memories over the years and, alongside his superstar team, he is excited to help current and future generations of Rollers to put on more amazing shows for many years to come.

Sophie Bicknell & Alex Walshaw

Co-Secretaries

Sophie graduated from Durham in 2009 with a degree in English Literature, and is a founding member of Rollers Theatre Company. She is currently a development producer at Tall Story Pictures, working with writers to develop new television dramas for a range of UK broadcasters. There aren’t many opportunities to shoehorn musical numbers into her current job, so she’s delighted to be part of RTC.

Alex is a Durham history graduate and a proud founding member of Rollers Theatre Company. She is currently Senior Press & PR Manager at Ralph Lauren, where she leads all aspects of the UK PR strategy for menswear & sports brands, and works closely with a wide range of editors and VIPs. In her spare time she enjoys looking after another group of drama queens.

Claire Lewis

Treasurer

After completing a Physics degree in Durham, Claire made the obvious career move into Logistics! She thoroughly enjoys working out the most cost effective way of solving a problem, which is how she approaches her role as Treasurer of RTCs precious coppers. Musical theatre has always played a huge part in Claire's life and hopes RTC continues to bring joy to both cast members and audiences for many years to come!

Vickie Gregory

Project Lead

Vickie is a media relations manager with over ten years experience working in PR with financial services brands and FTSE 100 companies, after graduating from Durham with a degree in Geography. In her role she liaises directly with venues and production team for bookings and helps to bring together the social calendar for the Company.

Nick Lee

Head of Communications

After completing a Biology degree from Durham, Nick started his working life at AMV BBDO, the UK's largest advertising agency.  After spending 5 years working on many of Britain's most well-known brands he hopped across town to Havas London.  He's worked there for the last 6 years, working on all sorts of business from cars to baby-food.  In 2018 he was promoted to Managing Partner on account of his improved time-keeping.

In his (non-RTC) spare time, he plays saxophone in a covers band, is an occasional bee-keeper and spends far to much time on his road bike.

Maxwell Spence

Publicity Secretary

Maxwell graduated in 2014 with a degree in modern languages. After a year of postgraduate study (tragically involving no musical theatre), he relocated to London and joined the Rollers family in time for its first cabaret. He hasn't looked back since. He now works as a civil servant, and in his spare time he particularly enjoys eating and sleeping.
