After completing BA and MA degrees in English Literature at Durham, Dan has worked at Shakespeare’s Globe, The Old Vic, the National Theatre, and now Tate Galleries in various external communication roles. Outside of his professional work, Dan also works with various comedy groups for their London and Edinburgh runs in a producer capacity, as well as his work with RTC.
Sophie Bicknell - Co-Secretary
Sophie studied English Literature at Durham and worked in PR before moving into television. She is now a development script editor at ITV Studios with over five years experience in the TV industry. She works with writers to develop new dramas for ITV and other broadcasters. There aren’t many opportunities to shoehorn musical numbers into her current job, so she’s delighted to be part of RTC.
Alex Walshaw - Co-Secretary
Alex is a History graduate and has worked at a major fashion brand for the last six years, where she is the Senior Press & PR Manager. Her role encompasses all aspects of the UK PR strategy supporting menswear & sports brands, and she works closely with a wide range of editors and VIPs. In her spare time she enjoys looking after another group of drama queens.
Vickie Gregory - Project Lead
Vickie is a media relations manager with over six years experience working in PR with financial services brands and FTSE 100 companies, after graduating from Durham with a degree in Geography. In her role she liaises directly with venues and production team for bookings and helps to bring together the social calendar for the Company.
Claire Lewis - Treasurer
Claire has been a Logistics Manager at Marks & Spencer for the past 4 years after completing a graduate scheme in Supply Chain with Rolls Royce, one of the world's leading producers of aero engines. Having studied a degree in Physics at Durham, being Treasurer of RTC gives Claire the opportunity to look at some more musical numbers!
Nick Lee - Comms & Promotion
After completing a Biology degree in Durham, Nick gained a graduate place at AMV BBDO, the UK’s largest advertising agency. He spent 5 years there working on many of Britain’s most well-known brands. For the last 3 years, he has been an Account Director at Havas London. In his (non-RTC) spare time he plays saxophone in a covers band, is an amateur beekeeper and rides his bike obsessively.
Felicity Jackson - Publicity
Felicity is currently Senior Creative Account Manager at one the UK’s most well-known charities, Comic Relief. She has worked there for the last five years, having previously worked agency-side. Felicity relishes being able to explore a different side of her creativity through RTC - both on and off-stage.
Laura Tickell - Social Media
Laura is a Classics graduate and has worked in the advertising industry since graduating in 2008. She has worked across a number of well-know brands and is currently a Media Director at a top media planning agency. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and going to the theatre - so she is thrilled to get the chance to once more work on the stage rather than sitting in the auditorium.
